Information You Provide
CurveWave can analyze CSV files selected by the user. CSV files are read locally on the user's device and are not uploaded to the backend by this version of the App.
When market data is requested, the App sends the requested symbol, period or date range, interval, and related request parameters to the configured backend service so that the requested data can be returned to the App.
Information We Do Not Collect
In the current version of CurveWave, we do not:
- create user accounts;
- collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact lists through the App;
- upload or store user-imported CSV files;
- use in-app analytics;
- use advertising SDKs;
- track users across apps or websites;
- sell personal information;
- retain IP addresses for analytics, profiling, advertising, or user tracking.
Backend and Operational Data
The configured backend service processes market-data requests only to provide the requested response to the App. The backend is operated so that request logs are not retained for user tracking, profiling, or analytics.
Internet services necessarily process transient technical information to receive a request and return a response. We do not use that transient information to identify, profile, advertise to, or track users.
Subscriptions and Trials
Some market-data features may require an App Store subscription or Apple-managed trial. Subscription purchases, trial eligibility, renewals, cancellations, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple through the user's App Store account.
CurveWave uses Apple's StoreKit APIs to load subscription product information and read App Store entitlement status. This lets the App determine whether market-data features should be available.
Third-Party Services and Data Sources
Market data may be obtained through a configured backend and upstream data sources. Those services may have their own terms, licenses, and privacy practices. CurveWave does not grant rights to third-party data beyond the rights provided by the applicable data source.
Data Retention
User-imported CSV files are not uploaded or stored by us. Market-data request parameters are processed to fulfill the request and are not retained by us for analytics, profiling, advertising, or user tracking.
Children
CurveWave is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about personal data. Because this version of CurveWave is designed not to maintain user accounts or retained personal profiles, we may not have data that can be linked to a specific user. You can contact us at [Contact Email] with privacy questions or requests.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if CurveWave's features, backend behavior, data handling, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted at https://curvewave-legal.pages.dev/privacy-policy.
